UPCOMING COMARA PICNIC - June 26

On Sunday afternoon June 26th we have the second annual IRA and COMARA 
Picnic--a catered event at the Lake Fairfax Park ($15 per attendee). We 
really hope you can come and meet and greet old friends.

We have a shelter reserved which will provide shade (if hot) and cover 
(if wet). In the unlikely event that very severe weather is forecast, the 
event may be canceled. The information you provide on the form will allow 
us to contact you if it becomes necessary to cancel the picnic. If the 
picnic is cancelled, the treasurer will simply destroy your check, and 
then confirm that in an email to you.

Reservation checks must be received by June 20, since the picnic is being 
catered and an accurate attendance count is vital. 

Lake Fairfax Park is a great venue for this picnic.

Lake Fairfax Park's 476 acres feature:

Lake Fairfax Carousel, An 18-acre lake, The Water Mine - an outdoor 
swimming pool enveloped by a lazy river; seasonal fishing, campgrounds, 
picnic areas, trails, party areas, a carousel, and playground. Nominal 
fees are charged for the Water Mine, carousel, boating, and camping. 
Swimming and windsurfing are prohibited in the lake.

Please let us know soon if you plan to attend so the Board can relax 
and stop worrying about attendance. Use the reservation form. If you then 
find you can't attend, just use the same form to let us know.
