If things go well, you will get only one copy of this newsletter. If not, them you may get a second one using an alternate delivery. The web host made a change last week that makes it more difficult to send out the newsletters by limiting the number of addresses that can be inserted into the BCC field. An alternative means of sending the news is being developed. This will be the first test of a very preliminary version. So - please excuse the duplicate mailing. (At least it's short)

Jack Hannon is just about to provide the final count for the hors d'oeuvres for our next get-together at the Brickskeller. He suspects that a few of you really would like to join us, but just haven't sent your RSVP.


The annual 15 minute "business meeting" will be held October 13 starting at 6:30pm at the Brickskeller Restaurant in the Dupont Circle area. The hors d'oeuvres are free - you buy your beer or whatever. If you can join us, send an email to annual.meeting@comara.org and let us know by October 8. Metro is a great way to get there. It's a short walk to the Brickskeller. See the announcement.

FIRST WEDNESDAY IN DECEMBER

A group of former COMSAT employees gets together on the First Wednesday in December. The next meeting is at 7PM on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at Roy's Place in Gaithersburg. *** ALL FORMER COMSAT INVITED!!! *** Please RSVP to ron@iotsystems.com so we can give Roy’s place an accurate count.
