2010 IRA-COMARA Picnic - June 26, 2010

Historic Dentzel Carousel

The IRA and COMARA will be having a joint family picnic at Glen Echo Park on Sat., 26th Jun., from 11:30am until 2:30pm? Glen Echo Park is located on MacArthur Blvd. by the Potomac River between Chain Bridge and Cabin John (American Legion) Bridge. The picnic is open to family and friends - come one, come all! This event will provide a special opportunity to see old friends and have a great time.

There is no cost as it is a BYOF (Bring Your Own Food) affair. IRA-COMARA will provide setup items: tablecloths, napkins, paper plates, plastic-ware, cups, snacks, soft drinks/water and dessert. Just bring your own food, or there is a nearby snack shop if you prefer to buy food on site.

The historic Dentzel Carousel starts up at 12:00 noon for the grandkids and should not be missed by the young or young at heart!. Tickets are $1.25. For more information about Glen Echo Park, please visit: http://www.glenechopark.org/

We hope you and your family and friends can come. It should be a fun time together - the more the merrier:
